On february 1st, 2023, Ikerbasque held a webinar about our Research Fellows 2023 call, open until the 15th of march, 2023. These five-year contracts are aimed at promising young scientists and offer the possibility of progressing towards the position of principal investigator and independent research. The selected Fellows should be able to acquire the necessary skills to become scientific leaders. Ikerbasque is committed to offering a long-term research career to the scientific community: Fellows can be evaluated during their 5th year to obtain a permanent position.
These positions are co-financed by the Basque Government, the European Commission and the host institution in which the candidate is going to carry out their research, so the letter of acceptance from said institution is necessary.
