Iñigo de Miguel, Ikerbasque researcher at the UPV/EHU, explains the fundamentals of data protection regulations, focusing especially on its principles and the rights of the subjects of the data. Likewise, he also tells us about the treatment of data related to health in research, in accordance with the provisions of Additional Disposition 17 of the Organic Law on Data Protection and Guarantee of Digital Rights of Spain.
