Structural characterization of ribosomal complexes involved in the regulation of protein synthesis and how alterations in these complexes can contribute to pathogenesis during bacterial and/or viral infection.

Previous research experience in Germany (Goethe-Universität Frankfurt, Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Sciences and the Institute of Organic Chemistry and Chemical Biology),Canada (University of Alberta), and CIC bioGUNE.
