The post-Covid-19 world will be different and therefore we must prepare ourselves to reflect on global governance and on new challenges, such as climate change and artificial intelligence. Yuste reflects on the need to incorporate science into the governance of countries. He also proposes the so-called "neuro-rights" to prevent what in the near future could be the loss of mental privacy, among other improper interventions on our brain activity.
Rafa Yuste, (Madrid, 1963) is one of the most influential neuroscientists in the world. He is the coordinator of the 'Brain' project, promoted by the Obama Administration, which aims to map the entire human brain and is considered the greatest challenge of science and technology of the 21st century. In 2019 he was selected as Ikerbasque Researcher and since then he divides his work time between DIPC (Donostia-San Sebastián) and Columbia University (USA).
