Last September 8th, 115 Ikerbasque researhcers gathered in Bilbao to discussa about the future of research in the Basque Country and take part in the development of the 2018-2021 Strategic Plan of Ikerbasque. Adolfo Morais (Viceminister for Universities and Research of the Basque Government), Pedro Miguel Etxenike (President of DIPC) and Andre Mas-Colell (President of BIST - Barcelona Institute of Science and Technology) also took part in the meeting.
During this workshop, over 100 ideas were identified to improve Basque research in the coming years.
